Overview

Find Your Way is an iOS-based travel navigation application designed to help users find the optimal tourist route using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Developed as part of my undergraduate thesis research, this application efficiently solves the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) by calculating the best route based on actual distances. The app allows travelers to input their starting location and desired destinations, then utilizes PSO to generate the most efficient travel route. Additionally, it offers personalized tour recommendations based on nearby attractions, allowing users to filter locations by category, such as restaurants or landmarks, to tailor their travel experience. To enhance usability, the app includes a route history feature, enabling users to save and revisit their previously generated routes for future use. By integrating PSO for route optimization and location-based recommendations, Find Your Way provides an intelligent and efficient travel solution, reducing travel time while maximizing exploration opportunities. This project strengthened my expertise in algorithm implementation, iOS development, and location-based services, contributing to both academic research and practical applications in travel technology.
